Join our keynote speakers Stan Grant, Mariam Veiszadeh and Liz Griffin at the annual get-together of the Baptist Care Australia family 28-30 May in Sydney.
All about culture. What is it, how does it create unconscious bias and what should we do about it? |
Can Australia achieve true, lasting reconciliation with Indigenous people? |
The strengths, challenges and competitive advantage of a diverse and inclusive workforce |
The conference theme is Everyone is welcome - cultural diversity, competence, harmony. Together, we'll be exploring how we can be better colleagues, leaders, carers and friends through greater understanding of the differences between us, our co-workers and our clients.
The program is out and includes two optional forums - one to discuss aged care advocacy before the conference and a women's leadership event afterwards.
Other program highlights include sessions to share news about measuring client outcomes and innovative approaches to funding social housing. Aged care isn't forgotten, with concurrent sessions exploring what culturally-competent aged care looks like in practice, and how to connect with clients through food and culture.
The welcome reception on the evening of Monday 28 May and the conference dinner on Tuesday will be great opportunities to relax and enjoy the company of friends old and new. And don't forget to find out the latest from our sponsors and exhibitors during the conference breaks.
The Baptist Care Australia annual conference is the only time all year that we gather in the one place to be inspired, learn and celebrate our achievements. We're looking forward to seeing you there!
