A new self-paced online training program for health and allied health professionals to enhance their skills to support older people at risk of or experiencing abuse has been developed by Australia's peak body for aged care advocacy, the Older Persons Advocacy
Network.
The free and self-paced training Abuse of the older person: eLearning program for health professionals, covers 40 abuse-related topics with nationally acclaimed subject matter experts, and can be used to apply for continuing professional development.
